Behind the Blocks
Hey, I'm the builder behind Afroforge. I started this project because I noticed a massive gap in the Minecraft community: we had thousands of European castles and modern cities, but almost no representation of the incredible structures from African history.
My goal is to change that. I spend hours researching real-world locations, from the Great Enclosure of Great Zimbabwe to the mud-brick mosques of Mali, translating their unique materials and shapes into the voxel limitations of the game.
